Summary of 2014’s observations: an overall increase in noninvasive weeds such as water shield, wild celery, water lobelia and 3-way sedge were observed in many areas; substantial amounts of native milfoil stems were found floating in various locations; native milfoil is slowly marching out of the eddy further into the lake; although bladderwort was still plentiful, less floating islands of it were observed than in 2013; some new growths of pickerel weed were found in various locations. |
