New Transfer Station / Beach stickers
The Town is transitioning to new Transfer Station / Beach stickers this year. Please visit the Town Hall M-T-W-F 9 to 3:00 pm and Thursday from 9:00 to 7:00 pm to obtain your stickers. (At this time there will be two stickers per household. Please bring proof of ownership of your property. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
The current stickers are still valid until change over.
Future dates will be announced to pick up stickers at the Transfer Station.

Granite State change regarding phone dialing
Granite State Communications issued a notice that as of April 24, 2021, you must dial 10 digits (area code-telephone number) for all local calls. If you forget and dial just 7 digits, your call will be completed.
October 24, 2021, you MUST dial 10-digits (area code + telephone number) for all local calls. On and after this date, local calls dialed with only 7-digits may not be completed.

Permits required for all construction
The Town of Washington requires that a Land Use Compliance Permit for Construction (aka Building Permit) be submitted to the town for all construction projects. Please see section 501 of Washington's Land Use Ordinance (link to LUO).
